Each course consists of one or more lessons that you are able to participate in online from the convenience of your home. The courses are held online via live or prerecorded sessions, followed by live Q&A with a tutor, and a quiz.
Skill Boosters are courses that consist of just one lesson and is focused on a single topic or task.
Learning Journeys are courses that contain multiple lessons. They go through more topics and follow a progression from start to finish.
You need a laptop or computer running Windows (8 or later), MacOS (11.x or later) or recent version of Linux distribution such as Ubuntu 22.x or later.
We also recommend that you have install an IDE (Integrated development environment) such as Visual Studio Code (free), WebStorm (30 day trial).
Test editors such as Sublime and Notepad++ work but lack many helpful features that make IDEs our preferred recommendation.
Once you have selected a course and paid for it, you will receive an email with instructions how to access the course. Depending on which course you take, you may be able to choose between live session or prerecorded.
Each course is available for 10 weeks after purchase. If after 10 weeks you want to take the same course again, you have to place a new order.
